What you don’t see is the dedicated work behind the scenes. A team of organizers, facilitators, and connectors continuously invests time and care into shaping the community, maintaining the network, and creating space for meaningful exchange and collaboration.

Lukas Schmidt
Project leader of Network
Lukas leads the network and local partnerships at Engage. He is a theater maker and educator and works with the relationship between personal stories and societal issues across theaters, community spaces, museums, and schools.
Sofie de Jong
Project leader of Communication
Sofie leads the communication and marketing at Engage. Sofie is an artisteducator working transdisciplinarily with socially engaged, archival, and arts-based research methodologies to create spaces for exchange and collective reflection.
Merle Te Velthuis
Project leader of Program
Merle leads the programs and funding at Engage. Merle is an artist educator, that develops interactive and participatory projects that invite people to actively share knowledge, stories, and experiences, focusing on strengthening connection.
Ugne Mosinaite
Project leader of Community
Uga leads the community engagement at Engage. Ugne works as a visual artist within the field of social change and focusses on everyday invisible labour and its emphasis on constructed social identities

Eibert leads the research and finance at Engage.
Julina Vanille Bezold
Project coordinator
Julina coordinates programs at Engage. Julina is an ecofeminist bodydesigner and socially engaged artisteducator.
Pompadó ZR Martha
Project coordinator
Pompadó coordinates programs at Engage. Pompadó is a content Curator & Artist Educator and works on art that is confrontational, interactive and an active persuit to equity.
